Software Engineer, Mobile (iOS)

About the Role

An employer is seeking a Software Engineer - Mobile (iOS) to develop and maintain applications for the iOS platform. The role involves integrating applications with back-end services and collaborating with a team of engineers to design and build new features, ensuring high-quality and performant products.

Responsibilities

• Design and build applications for the iOS platform.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Work together with the team to define, design and ship new features.
• Build reusable code and libraries for future use.
• Optimize the application for maximum speed and scalability.
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization
• Liase with developers, desingers and system administrators to identify new features.

Requirements

• 2+ years working experience in Mobile Development.
• Proficient knowledge of Swift.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications to back-end services.
• Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.
• Knowledge of other web technologies and UI/UX standards.
• Understanding of Apple’s design principles and interface guidelines.
• Excellent analytical and time management skills.
• Teamwork skills with a problem-solving attitude.
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
